DT-HiQ USB AVR ISP mkII is an upgraded version of the earlier version, namely DT-HiQ USB AVR ISP [version of STK-500]. If the previous version using the STK-500, on this version using ATMEL AVRISP MKII.

DT-HiQ USB AVR ISP mkII are in-system programmer that can be connected to a computer through a USB port for programming the AVR ® Microcontroller family of 8-bit RISC featured in-system programming. This product can work with software AVR Studio ©, ©, AVRDUDE CodeVisionAVR (WinAVR) BASCOM-AVR ©, or other software that supports ATMEL AVRISP MKII Protocol.
