Specifications:
- Has two kinds of interfaces that can be active simultaneously, i.e. I2C-bus (fSCL Max. 65 kHz) and pulse width (10 µs/mm)
- 8 modules can be used together in one system I2C-bus which only requires 2 microcontroller i/o pins only.
- Requires single power supply + 5 VDC, with a current consumption of 17 mA Typ. (without sensor infrared ranger).
- There are two modes of operation, namely the full operation and reduced operation. The reduced operation mode on some components of the ultrasonic ranger switches off (idle) and a consumption flow became 13 mA Typ.
- Consists of an ultrasonic ranger with specs:
- Measure the distance of 2 cm to 3 m without dead zone or blank spots.
- Objects within the 0-2 cm is detected as 2 cm.
- Using the burst signal box 16 Vp-p with a frequency of 40 kHz.
- Can be connected to a maximum of 2 pieces Sharp GP2D12 infrared ranger that has a measurement range of 10-80 cm.
- The output Data is already ready to use in units of mm (for the I2C interface) so as to reduce the burden of the microcontroller.
- Precision measurement of the distance (ranger) is 5 mm.
- Fast measurement cycles, the reading can be done every 25 ms (40 Hz rate).
- Need input trigger a negative pulse TTL (20 µs min.) to interface the pulse width.
- Available 1 output pin that shows activity sensors, can not be utilized.
- Not required delay time before the next measurement.
- Error compensation can be set manually to decrease the influence of environmental temperature change factors and factors of reflektifitas objects.
- There is an example program in C language (CodeVisionAVR ©) for AVR ® Microcontroller AT90S2313 and BASIC language (BASOM-8051 ©) to MCS-51 microcontroller ®.
Includes:
- 1x DT-SENSE UltraSonic and InfraRed Ranger.
